Which Keyboard Case Is Best for iPad 10th Generation in 2025?（Update）

by Nicky on Oct 26, 2022 (Last Updated:Apr 14, 2025)

Keyboard cases have transformed the way we can now use our iPads. An iPad can quickly change to a PC with a suitable keyboard case, making it easy for owners to type and design effortlessly. Besides that, keyboard cases also make carrying iPads around safe and compact. Some sophisticated ones have built-in batteries that light their keys in dark environments, while others are detachable.

According to Apple’s details, the iPad 10th Generation supports Magic Keyboard Folio cases. But it’s not only the tech company that sells this accessory. Many third-party accessory makers also produce quality keyboard cases for iPads, which are far more affordable than Apple’s.

Unfortunately, with many producers also come some compromises. A sincere buyer can therefore be confused with the many options available in many online stores. In this post, I will help you streamline your search by recommending a few keyboard cases for iPad 10th Generation.

But before then, here are some tips you can use to determine which keyboard case to purchase.

1. Compatibility

iPad 10th Generation is different from its predecessor in size and other functions. The 9th Generation works with smart keyboards, while the 10th perfectly combines with a magic keyboard case. Therefore, before choosing a keyboard case from any maker, double-check that it is specific for the iPad 10th Generation.

2. Brand

If you aren’t purchasing Apple’s official Magic Keyboard Folio case, it pays to be sure of the third-party brand you plan to choose. ESR, Logitech, and Brydge are some notable brands for quality Apple product accessories. Selecting a known brand reduces your odds of purchasing an inferior product.

3.Keyboard Functions

Since the prime feature of this case is the keyboard, you should see whether it is spacious enough for typing and if it contains the keys you need. Since you will want to use it in the dark, you should also see if it has a backlight and how its powering modes.

4. Price

Comparing prices among the top accessory makers is an excellent idea because it helps you get the best. However, note that quality products aren’t always cheap. The budget recommendation for accessories by experts is between 10 – 15% of the cost of the gadget. Within this range, you should find excellent products.

5. Design

If you have the 1st Generation Apple Pencil or a stylus, your preferred keyboard case should help you keep it safe. It should also not hinder critical ports on your iPads and must be strong enough to suspend the tablet safely.

With these, here are three recommendations for excellent iPad 10th Generation keyboard cases in 2022

Because the keyboard is detachable, you can choose to remove it and use the back cover as a kickstand. And although this case is expensive, Apple allows monthly payments in installments. Experience seamless multi-angle viewing with an ergonomic magnetic stand, engineered to securely hold your iPad 11 (A16) in both landscape and portrait modes. The expanded base design enhances stability during video calls or content streaming, while the slim profile ensures effortless portability. Integrated with a dedicated slot for Apple Pencil (USB-C) or first-generation stylus, this case combines practicality with the vibrant color options of your iPad.

Conclusion

There are more keyboard cases for iPad 10th Generation on the internet and several offline sources. However, these three options stand out from our rigorous testing and searching. Apple’s official product is significantly more expensive than the other two and doesn’t have a spot for keeping its Pencil. However, the design, material, and flexibility are top-notch.

In all, ESR’s Rebound Magnetic Keyboard case remains the option to beat among the three for its features, price, and quality. The built-in backlit battery and flexible cantilever are absent in the other two, yet the price remains the most affordable. Therefore, if you are thinking of a smart way to get value for your money, choose ESR’s iPad 10th Generation Rebound Magnetic Keyboard case with big deal：ESRBLOG！
